Unai Risueño (Basque Country-Spain, 1978) moved to The Netherlands in 2003, where he studied Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at De Nederlandse Fotovakschool. He started his career as a press photographer, collaborating with many Dutch and international agencies. His photos have been featured in De Volkskrant, Trouw, NRC-Handelsblad, Het Parool, Het Financieele Dagblad and El Correo Español among others.
As an all-round visual artist, commercial photographer, editor and art-director, he also creates high-quality content for brands, businesses and agencies. He takes on a broad array of assignments of many different styles, applying a holistic approach to every job.
At the present he is based in Amsterdam and works on demand worldwide.
