Amsterdam, December 2020. Due to the new measures taken by the Dutch government to reduce the number of corona infections, The Netherlands will go into lockdown until at least 19 January 2021. Museums and theatres, amusement parks and zoos, casinos and saunas, indoor sports facilities and hotel catering facilities will be closed among others. Shops such as clothes stors, shoe stores, jewellery shops and hobby stores will also be closed. In doing so, the government is trying to limit contacts as much as possible. Supermarkets, bakers, butchers and other shops selling food can remain open, just like pharmacies, drugstores and petrol stations. Photos: Unai Risueño / De Beeldunie
